Waterfront Home on Westcott Bay! Private Beach Access! 3 bedroom home on Westcott Bay with a private beach for exploring and close to Roche Harbor!
1 dog per reservation with a pet fee. The dog is not to be left unattended. If a dog is left unattended and a neighbor calls to complain, renter will be charged a $200 fee. The dog must be house trained. Dog weight must be less than 60 lbs. No pets on furniture. The renter assumes responsibility for all extra cleaning needed such as emergency carpet cleaning, furniture replacement, and or emergency laundromat use for bulky items like comforters and pillows. The dog must be house trained and on-leash while outside.
This home is a wonderful mix of classic and modern. The downhill winding driveway and landscaped walkway set the scene for a relaxing island vacation before you even reach the front door.
The living room is arranged to maximize the view of Westcott Bay and allow for comfortable gatherings around the electric fireplace. The kitchen and dining room are adjacent to one another, making meals easy and enjoyable for everyone! A wide deck extends the whole length of the house, and offers a dining area, gas BBQ grill and lounge chairs to kick back and enjoy the view. This home does not have Air Conditioning, as the ocean breeze and a few open windows (screened in) are more than sufficient to cool down the home.
All 3 bedrooms are located on the main floor of the home. Wake up in the King primary bedroom or guest King bedroom to morning views of the bay through the large picture windows. The two King beds have recently been updated to Stearns & Foster Rockwell luxury firm euro pillowtop king mattresses. The 3rd bedroom is equipped with a Stearns & Foster Rockwell luxury firm euro pillowtop queen mattress and adorned in a nautical theme.
Once you are ready to adventure, look no further than the path to the Crab Shack! The Crab Shack is a covered area just below the home with a large deck built with benches, offering an unobstructed view all the way to the Westcott Bay Shellfish Farm on the other side of the water. To the right of the Crab Shack is a path leading to a clearing with and benches for wildlife viewing. It's the perfect place to watch the San Juan Sunset and make some memories.
Fire pits are not usable from May 1st-September 30th due to county burn ban and safety of property and neighboring areas. Ban is usually lifted October 1st if/when conditions and weather are favorable. Firewood not provided.

Summary: We enjoyed this beautiful property. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and eat on the gigantic deck with the view of the bay. The owners were kind to allow early entrance as it was available which we greatly appreciated. First class all the way:) We will be back!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came from all over the US to vacation together for my 50th birthday. This entire trip was incredible. The house was perfect and having 2 king size beds for the couples was absolutely perfect. The views from the 2 bedrooms and the living room were exceptional. I don't think we ever closed our blinds! We needed the staff to help with internet connection and they were incredibly prompt and helpful. We loved the gas grill and enjoyed evenings by the firepit - fortunately we were there in early April so we were able to have a fire.The house was very well stocked with supplies and it was very clean!. We would highly recommend San Juan Properties and hope to return.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay. It was my husband and my parents and we had plenty of room but it was also the best cozy environment. No matter what room you're in you can see the water and we spent most of our time on the large deck. Would definitely stay here again. Only con is I wish there was more flexibility with check-in/out. You can't check in until 4 which means you pay for a day you can't really use and check out is at 10am. I feel we could have better maximized our time in the rental if we were able to check in earlier and out later.

Summary: Location was fantastic! We walked to the sculpture garden, the distillery and Roche harbor. The bay was so quiet and a wonder place to paddle. We brought kayaks and paddle boards. Morning sunrises were gorgeous and the home was cozy and the deck was pacious

Summary: The drive down to the property was steep but doable if you took it slowly. We had no issues with check in. The house has two deck areas and amazing views of Westcott Bay. The three bedrooms were well cleaned and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable for all and the living room was nicely decorated, There were games and a TV. We did encounter a burp in the internet one morning but it resolved after a quick reset. The speed was about 30 MbPS. Kitchen facilities were good and had what we needed. The requirements before departure should be in the listing. We had to put towels in the washing machine and start and load the dishes into the dishwasher and start. Taking out the trash as requested was a search as it was hidden around a separate building. We did have seals in the bay every day and even a neighborhood cat came to investigate us on the porch. Would definitely stay here again.
